Hello!
Last week, we talked about logging your numbers—getting honest about income, marketing expenses, and the effort you’ve put in so far this year. That check-in wasn’t just an exercise. It’s the foundation for knowing what to do next.
If your numbers didn’t line up with your hopes, you’re not alone. Facing the most brutal truths with the intention to overcome the barriers is incredibly powerful. You’ve seen what worked (and what didn’t). Now it’s time to use that insight to map out a revenue plan for the rest of the year.
Here’s how to get started:
Review your revenue goal(s).
Based on need and opportunity, what would a strong second half look like?
Break it down.
How many sales, projects, or retainers do you need to reach that goal? What’s your most profitable offer—and is it generating calls?
Plot your path.
What can realistically deliver the numbers you need? Sketch a basic plan with campaign dates, website or profile updates, and marketing efforts that support the goal. You don’t need to reinvent the wheel—just aim your energy where it matters.
Action step:
Take 20 minutes today to work on it. Whether it is high tech or on a cocktail napkin is less important than whether or not you give it your undivided attention. The goal is to identify how much you still need to bring in this year and what will generate that income.
If you schedule a Marketing Map session, I will help you develop an action plan to generate the business. If you prefer to do-it-yourself, one consider identifying repeatable actions to stay in front of people who already know, like, and trust you. That drives the quickest results.
You’ve got this!
