Have you written your marketing objectives? Most business leaders don’t know their revenue goals, let alone have marketing goals that will accomplish them. I just read a post from Drew Griffin who I follow on the Skool platform. He that said you can figure out your revenue goals in 60 seconds by asking yourself 2 questions:
What did you bring in last year?
What’s the next milestone you want to hit?
Not someday goals, real numbers for the next 90 days or the next year. If you don’t know, 10-15% is a solid growth goal. What was your revenue last year? How can you increase it by 15% next year?
The September 22 Marketing Monday post was tips for writing marketing objectives. If you did, send them to me. If not, I need you to actually do it this week. We’re in a sprint to have a marketing plan to launch in January. Commit to using these Marketing Monday messages to get it done.
Marketing Monday messages are designed to bring a thoughtful, strategic element into your week so you can connect with customers who will value your strengths. Growth begins the moment you stop and ask what is possible.
The moment is now. If you don’t have marketing objectives, stop what you are doing and either write down your revenue goal for next year or block off time to do it. Once you have the revenue goal, write down 3 things you know you need to do to achieve it.
Don’t overthink it. We’re looking for a starting place. Write it down and send it to me. Now, not later. Get serious about working each week and consider joining our Plan as You Grow group on Skool to work the market planning process with other professionals.
Growth begins the moment you stop and ask what could be.
You’ve got this!
