What happened to January?!? I’ve just been slammed with things flying at me from all directions. My goal to do more writing was almost instantly overshadowed by technology meltdowns.
It was stupid, unavoidable stuff. Things like needing to have new wiring run from the street to the building to get the internet back up. I’m sure you know what I mean, that you’ve had something similar get in your way.
I’m writing anyway. I have a clear picture of what I need to accomplish and I have stepped away from the chaos to tackle my top priority—sharing tips to help increase revenue with steady marketing.
Committing time to marketing is too important. No matter how busy things get, there are people out there who need your help. Companies who can afford to pay big money for your services, people who would value your insight and experience.
No matter how hectic your schedule gets, you need to check in on those marketing priorities. Be sure someone is working on your big three, if you don’t know the three things that will generate the biggest return, defining that is your first step.
This week, don’t get distracted by the random tasks people throw your way. Look back at your goals. Celebrate what you’ve accomplished this month and block off time for priorities.
Don’t choose to be confused by something that isn’t confusing. Your company won’t grow without your leadership. Set the direction and let others manage the tech.
You’ve got this!
